Scary Movie Night

At the Troy Library on Thursday, October 22, we’ll have an afterhours scary movie night for teens and adults.  We’ll be eating snacks and scaring ourselves silly from 7-10pm.  We let you pick the movie — as long as it’s rated PG-13 or lower.  Warning: Most of the movie choices will probably be too scary for small children, so please leave little ones at home.

Pool Party At Wathena

dTr6xGjT9On Friday, July 31st from 6:30-8:30pm, the library will host a pool party at the Wathena pool.  Admission to the pool will be free to all library users that evening, and we’ll have snacks and great prizes to give away, too. All ages are welcome. We’re having such a great summer of reading here at the library. Just a reminder that you have about two weeks to read and complete your summer reading bingo board. Don’t have a summer reading bingo board? Don’t know what a summer reading bingo board is? Stop by any branch and we’ll explain. Every bingo board that you turn in gives you one more entry into the grand prize drawing for your age group, so read, read, read! All reading bingo boards are due by July 31st to any branch.  They will not be eligible for the drawing if turned in after that date.
